Lost in Translation (2003) Sofia Coppola

I’ve reblogged this a lot over the past week and I love it so much because it works on two levels.
First, it forces black men to realize how stupid they sound when they blame women for being raped for what they wear. Secondly, people who speak out about victim-blaming will think twice when they realize how it applies to black men with baggy jeans who are killed for being “thugs” and “gangsters.”
Easily one of the best tweets I’ve ever seen.
